Welcome to SHSA

Sacred Heart School for the Arts has been providing excellence in arts education to the Louisville community for more than 50 years. Founded by the Ursuline Sisters, SHSA nurtures creativity and encourages self-expression through opportunities in dance, drama, music, and visual art. Exploration of the arts, especially at a young age, ensures a well-rounded education and an appreciation that will last a lifetime. SHSA also offers our students state-of-the-art rehearsal, studio, and performance facilities.

All students, regardless of experience level, are provided the opportunity to showcase their talents. We believe all artists deserve their moment in the spotlight. Nearly 30 experienced faculty members help our young artists shine at Sacred Heart School for the Arts.
