Sleeping Beauty is a classical ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, based on Charles Perrault's fairy tale. The story follows Princess Aurora, who is cursed by the evil fairy Carabosse to die on her 16th birthday after pricking her finger on a spinning wheel. However, The Lilac Fairy, modifies the curse, ensuring that Aurora will instead fall into a deep sleep that can only be broken by true love's kiss.
Aurora is protected by fairies and hidden away, but when she eventually pricks her finger, she falls into a deep slumber. Years later, Prince Florimund, guided by The Lilac Fairy, finds Aurora and awakens her with a kiss. They marry, and the kingdom rejoices as good triumphs over evil.

By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation.
The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child, who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Horton's challenge is twofold — not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
