Performance and Event Policies

 

To assure your visit to Ursuline Arts Center is a pleasant one, please review the following policies and procedures. These policies and procedures apply to all patrons of Ursuline Arts Center at any event.

Children Policy: Infants and newborns are permitted at Sacred Heart School for the Arts productions. Outside organizations renting the Ursuline Arts Center may choose to limit the age of attendees. Please see individual event description for details. Everyone attending must have a ticket. 

Cameras & Recording Devices: Cameras and other recording devices/cameras (audio, video and still) may and can be prohibited during a performance. The camera and recording policy for each performance/event will be communicated in the event program and/or prior to the start of each event/performance. 

Cell Phone and Personal Electronic Device Policy: The use of cell phones and other electronic devices is strictly prohibited. Cellular phones and other devices may cause distractions to performers and other patrons. Please turn all devices off.

Food & Beverage: No food or beverage of any kind is permitted in the theater house of the Ursuline Arts Center. 

Seating Policy: Every effort is made to start performances at the announced hour unless there is an unavoidable delay. Late arriving patrons may be asked to wait to be seated until a designated time or directed to seats in the rear of the theater until intermission. General seating or reserved seating is determined in advance by the producers of each event.

Smoking: Ursuline Arts Center and the R. F. Joseph Amphitheater are non-smoking, tobacco free venues.

Ursuline Arts Center and Sacred Heart Schools prides itself on offering a diverse selection of arts entertainment for children and adults. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every person or for all ages. Therefore, patrons are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the shows offered in order to make informed decisions prior to purchasing tickets.
